Welcome to Adventist School in Mouseitbeh (ASM). Thank you for your interest in our school. We appreciate your encouraging energy and determination to distinction in education, and we look forward to working with you and your children. We are glad to share information about our system. Adventist School in Mouseitbeh (ASM), is part of the worldwide Adventist schools’ system that operates in over 100 countries, to currently serve hundreds and hundreds of thousands of students. Adventist education prepares learners for a useful and joy-filled life, fostering friendship with God, whole-person development, Bible-based values, and service in accordance with the Seventh-day Adventist Church mission to the world.
We provide a comprehensive academic program following the guidelines of the Lebanese Ministry of Higher Education guidelines. Also, Inclusion Special Education Program is available upon reviewing a recent report about the needs provided by the student’s parents, specifying the requested follow up. Then, after reviewing the report, parents will be notified about our possibilities to serve the needs.
These features, the schools’ policies, procedures and practices provide the Special Character of Adventist Education, based on the fundamental beliefs and values of the Seventh-day Adventist church.
Though situations are challenging, our skilled and devoted staff is already planning and preparing for learners, with positive approaches regarding personal needs and differences and learning styles. This will include preparations to utilize The School’s Electronic Platform and in-school wonderful learning experiences. Also, our curriculum incorporates a diversity of extracurricular and thematic out of class activities to enrich character and academic growth, spiritually, socially, psychologically, and mentally.
Facilities are updated like always and Psychological, Social, physical, security measures are prime concerns for us. Safety measures in all aspects of school life is an essential routine in our daily work. We thank God for being with us all through these challenging times. He guided us, made us wise, blessed and helped us to find the way forward in spite of the many problems that we had to deal with on a daily basis.
Ellen G. White says: True education means more than the perusal of a certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being, and with the whole period of existence possible to man. It is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers. It prepares the student for the joy of service in this world and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come.
This is what The Holy bible says: “In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned”. This is what ASM does.
